Learn to Meditate – freely, naturally and joyfully!

Human beings have been meditating since the beginning of time. It is instinctive in us to enjoy moments of deep connection with ourselves and the miracle of being alive. There is a timeless approach to meditation which welcomes and celebrates your individuality and uniqueness, cherishes your natural instincts and opens you up to a deeper experience of your aliveness. This approach is easy and natural – your being is wired to it and loves to do it. It doesn’t require you to “perform” to a set of rules or standards. You don’t have to sit, ignore discomfort in your body, close your eyes (unless you want to) or abandon yourself by blocking out thoughts and feelings. It is an approach in which you welcome the currents of life force energy in your being and allow them to assimilate , rather than detaching and observing yourself from a distance. Though its roots are in a timeless ancient instinct that humans have always had, it is an approach which is perfect for people with busy modern lives. If you have always wanted to meditate but didn’t think you could or if you are already in a practice but want to make it richer, deeper and more personal, this course is for you.

This 6 week course is held at Inna Bliss Yoga’s Bulimba studio on a weekday evening. Check back here for updates  in early 2020.

Retreats

I have teamed up with Amy Wilkinson of Inna Bliss Yoga to offer Women’s Self Care and Self Empowerment retreats throughout Australia and oversees.  Over the last three years we have held a number of incredible weekend and week long retreats at beautiful locations such as Wybelena Organic Farm,  Gymea Eco Retreat Centre and Spa both in NSW and at the Shala Bali, in Ubud, Bali. Our next Winter Retreat in Northern NSW will be from 4 to 7 June 2020 and our next “Embodying Bliss” retreat in Bali will be from 1 to 7 August 2020.

Work Place Well-Being

Workplace stress can be a major risk factor for employee health and productivity. It is fair to say that the ability to manage a demanding workload and maintain a healthy work-life balance is a major concern of every member of the corporate workforce.

Managed well, the right amount of stress has a positive impact on staff motivation, enthusiasm, performance and productivity.  However, there is a tipping point in every individual between the amount of stress that fuels ambition, determination and focus and that which becomes anxiety, scattered thinking, lack of focus, reduced motivation, irritability and poor conflict resolution, with reduced performance and productivity.  Disturbed sleeping and eating patterns and other physical and personal home-life impacts clearly add to the problem.

Support for workplace wellbeing can be tailored to specific company and individual needs, and services include:

Workplace Group Sessions: 45-75 minute sessions for between 6 and 15 colleagues as part of your team’s wellness program. Bespoke workshops can be provided in office conference rooms or boardrooms on-site. Sessions can be held at the start of day, lunchtime or after work— whatever fits best with your group needs.

Individual Coaching: One-to-one sessions of one hour conducted in client office or a small break-out room. Can be integrated into the working day. Suited for  executives and others with leadership responsibility.
