Classes will resume in 2020. The following are examples of classes I have offered during 2019.
Reclaim and reboot yourself at the end of the week with a magical hour of meditation, restoration and relaxation. Meditation is about cherishing all the flavours of life and giving yourself the freedom and space to repair the natural wear-and-tear we all experience and to be revitalised as you connect to deeper joy and meaning. In this instinctive, individuality-honouring approach, there is no forcing or blocking or uncomfortable sitting, no restricting of your dreamscape and no silencing or stilling of the mind. Instead, there is complete freedom to be yourself, to spread out, to allow all that matters to you to come forward naturally and all your energies to circulate in their healthy spontaneous flow. In just one hour, experience healing and vitality that will pulse in you long after the class is finished.

“I really enjoy the structure you have created with the talk, providing reflection opportunity and guidance, followed by movement flow (I really crave this as I feel it opens me up more) then the meditation. So thank you.”
Learn to Meditate – freely, naturally and joyfully!
Human beings have been meditating since the beginning of time. It is instinctive in us to enjoy moments of deep connection with ourselves and the miracle of being alive. There is a timeless approach to meditation which welcomes and celebrates your individuality and uniqueness, cherishes your natural instincts and opens you up to a deeper experience of your aliveness. This approach is easy and natural – your being is wired to it and loves to do it. It doesn’t require you to “perform” to a set of rules or standards. You don’t have to sit, ignore discomfort in your body, close your eyes (unless you want to) or abandon yourself by blocking out thoughts and feelings. It is an approach in which you welcome the currents of life force energy in your being and allow them to assimilate , rather than detaching and observing yourself from a distance. Though its roots are in a timeless ancient instinct that humans have always had, it is an approach which is perfect for people with busy modern lives. If you have always wanted to meditate but didn’t think you could or if you are already in a practice but want to make it richer, deeper and more personal, this course is for you.

Workplace stress can be a major risk factor for employee health and productivity. It is fair to say that the ability to manage a demanding workload and maintain a healthy work-life balance is a major concern of every member of the corporate workforce.
Managed well, the right amount of stress has a positive impact on staff motivation, enthusiasm, performance and productivity. However, there is a tipping point in every individual between the amount of stress that fuels ambition, determination and focus and that which becomes anxiety, scattered thinking, lack of focus, reduced motivation, irritability and poor conflict resolution, with reduced performance and productivity. Disturbed sleeping and eating patterns and other physical and personal home-life impacts clearly add to the problem.
A company’s morale and culture is influenced significantly by the emotional and physical wellbeing of the individuals it employs. A company which prioritizes staff wellbeing and has the knowledge and resources to recognize the components of work-place stress and how to manage it effectively, is rewarded by employee confidence and loyalty as well as the obvious benefits to overall performance and productivity. There is robust evidence of the value of regular meditation and awareness practices in the workplace. These practices are based on an approach which honours a person’s individual nature and needs. They enable staff to understand their relationship to particular stressors and to make adjustments and instigate strategies to support their emotional and physical well-being.
There are many benefits of using regular meditation and self-care practices in the workplace. The benefits include both developing employee ability to adjust to and manage daily work-place stresses and thrive under pressure as well as supporting development of a sustainable, high-performing culture.
I offer a flexible, natural and individuality-honouring approach to meditation and inner practices which:

“We were fortunate to have Alison join our corporate wellness day and host a session on meditation. She was able to speak with great authority on the subject, having lived her own busy executive life. Alison shared practical tips and the attendees got a lot out of the session. She was easy to work with and collaborative in the planning of the session.”
