Stacey Louise

Guest Teacher

Stacey Louise is the founder and lead trainer at Inspired Kids Yoga and Calm Fairies. A Yoga Teacher; Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher & Teacher Trainer and Paediatric Yoga Therapist, Stacey is passionate about empowering kids with tools to feel safe and calm.

Since 2005, Stacey has been teaching yoga and meditation to children in day care centres, primary and secondary schools, yoga studios, festivals and in her most treasured work- Children’s Hospital wards.

Finding yoga in 2000 helped her to befriend anxiety and cope with a myriad of medical conditions that followed over the next two decades. In recent years, Stacey has turned her own experience of staying calm during blood tests; surgeries and doctor’s visits into her legacy, with the creation of Calm Fairies- a program to help kids feel safe and calm in medical settings.

During the creation of the Calm Fairies training, Stacey has expanded her knowledge to include topics related to trauma; anxiety; neurodiversity; neuroplasticity and attachment theories. This has led to her one on one sessions with kids with anxiety and Autism.

Drawing upon her Bachelor degree and previous career in Children’s TV Studio Production, Stacey co-produced a series of Kids Yoga videos that are stocked in many Australian libraries; in stores all over Australia and New Zealand and on FMTV and Gaia.

Stacey has a natural gift for working with children and she loves to explore the ways in which each child can find their own inner calm. With a creative flair, she loves sharing knowledge and methods that help children in fun, experiential and easy-to-understand ways.
